Ognina

Ognina is a beautiful seaside resort, located a few miles from Syracuse, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, with zones of breathtaking unspoiled nature. The beauty of the colors of the sea, the diversity of the various parts of the coastline, the purity of the seabed determine the alluring charm of this little paradise.

Beaten by the wind, the coast is a succession of rocky cliffs overlooking the sea, caves and sea cavities of incomparable shape and colours which alternate with coves and bays of white sand. Around Ognina one can admire numerous houses of varying architecture, with pitched roofs or terraces, surrounded by neat magnificient gardens.

In the countryside nearby you will be astonished by almond blossoms in December, prickly pear cladodes, tortuous ancient olive trees. Ognina is therefore a world of tranquility surrounded by the scent of the Mediterranean vegetation, by its spectacular cliff, by a crystal clear unpolluted sea, rich in fish, a true paradise for those who love fishing and scuba diving.
